Mosaic Sacramento?
Last Friday night a few of us in Sacratomato held our first meeting to discuss the “community of believers”. Our first topic of discussion? Wind. It was great. While the group was somewhat small, the conversation was anything but. We discussed, shared, prayed and laughed. What a great bunch of people:
Eric & Lizette
Dene & Carol
Molly & Brandon
Cindy & Karli
Nick & Yuan
Heath & Me
…and of course the children!
Luke, Sienna & Annie
Nicollet & Isabella
Graeme - Summer was at Grandma’s with the flu:(
Some other items discussed:
1. Should we follow the rules, structure and hierarchy of the church we have known for the last 500 years?
2. How do we stay away from emulating pop culture and manufactured art in our community?
3. Where does our stability come from?
There were, of course, many other items discussed, but I think these were the three topics that led our meeting.
From here on out, Friday nights will be dedicated the early stages and the building up of the community. Next month Heath (my husband) and Eric will be at the Origins Conference.

Sue -
Have you networked at all with Flood Sacramento? My friend Sean is the senior pastor and is just really doing some cool things. Check them out at http://www.floodsacremento.com
