Family Vacation - Stinson Beach
It has been a while since my last AND VERY obscure post. Not much has happened I suppose, except that the kids are growing every second of every day. Last week we went to Stinson Beach and stayed in an amazing house up the hill a ways. We had originally wanted a house on the beach, but the vacation rental company screwed up the reservations. However, it worked out pretty well for us in the end. They offered us a vacation package for an extremely reduced price! We’re going back at New Year’s with the some close friends! Yahoo!
Now for a few pictures…
A view from the home we vacationed in.

It was pretty foggy but it somehow made the surroundings more magical.

A sunset…

One thing I noticed about Stinson is that there are many artists in and around this magical beach community. It was wonderful. Art on the houses. Art on the side of the road. Art in gardens. Art in restaurants. Art in the market. It was all over. I suppose living and being around such breath taking beauty is nothing short of inspirational.
From an artist’s perspective…

It was a great vacation and one I will always cheerish.

It is across the bay from SF (north west). When you come across the Golden Gate Bridge you take 101 to 1 and there you are in Stinson! My friend Paula invited me to her friend’s beach house about 8 years ago, and I try to get there every summer to escape the heat of the valley. It truly is beautiful

yeah… I didn’t quite understand the poem thing. I’m glad IT was obscure, not me after all.
Sounds like you had a great trip!

Yeah, it was obscure. I like poetry. What can I say? I’m thinking of starting a literary group for women. A place where women can get together and share poetry (either their own or borrowed), monologues from great plays, excerpts from favorite books. I love all forms of literature.
And Miroslav you are obscure, but that’s okay…so am I. HAHAHAHA
While coming home from our vacation we stopped in Marin and lo and behold there was a clinic called the “*SH*R CLINIC” I should have taken a picture of it for you! Damn me! Heath and I got a big laugh, though!!
