…So your smarter than you boss…SO WHAT!
Like the generation before me, I am somewhat more “computer savvy”, if you will, than SOME people 10, 20, 30 years my senior, and yet I find myself continually outraged by my boss’s inaptitude. What bothers me the most is her pride. If you don’t know how to turn off your computer than please ask someone for help, but don’t just unplug it while you have 20 applications open. She goes through my folders to “check my work” against the database. PALEEEEEEEEZE she doesn’t even now how to do a search! She walks around the office with her steno pad and pencil tucked behind her ear, looking in corners and cracks for whatever she can comment on.
“The files should all be in green hanging folders. I don’t like the colored ones because they confuse me.”
She annoys me beyond belief, and yet here I am, still working here. I should be the one I’m annoyed with.

Sorry…I had more than one of those bosses. I fell into that category a lot too…of having to teach the boss how to do things on the computer. Then they get all snotty because you know more. So they give you crap work to do “their way” just to prove they are still in charge. Yeah…that sucks.
Oh and by the way…it’s 50 degrees here…and misty outside…and we just went to REI and everyone was in their NorthFace jackets and shorts….ahhhhhh Colorado weather!!!!

yeah, i’ve had that too…so it sounds like you’re at a crossroads…uhmm, maybe you should take a leap of “faith”(?) and do something different….
