The Heath
About a week ago Heath and I watched the final “Prime Suspect”, and I kept hearing the characters refer to “the heath”. It boggled my mind. Is that a statue of some famous British dude? Is it short for Heathrow Airport? What is the heath? To me, the heath is a good man, sitting in the family room next to me. To my surprise, my Heath told me that they were referring to a field. Heath means field? At first, I didn’t like that. My wonderful husband’s name cannot mean field! But then I realized that definition fits him perfectly. Heath is much like a field. He is sturdy and well tended. He provides a place for others to grow and learn and love. Heath is nurturing and mature yet somewhat wild and untamed. Heath is a heath.
On another note…I haven’t seen “The Queen” yet, but hear Helen Mirrin is amazing. Maybe Oscar worthy even.
